The Insurance Inspiration Lab in Warsaw has invited Frank Genheimer to speak about the past, presence and future of life business. Frank approached this topic from a product perspective. In the past and presence, major triggers for new products and product enhancements have been regulation, capital market and sales demand. Each new requirement has been answered with a new product. Present and future challenges such as digitization, individualization and real customer centricity require a fundamental new approach. A new product is just not enough. The industry needs a new product philosophy.
